"COLLECTION DELOZANNE"


Wine origin:
5 traditional villages, from the Vallée de l’Ardre to the Monts de Reims, on the western zone of the Reims Mountain.  DELAGARDE - DELOZANNE Wineries.

The grape varieties:
50% Chardonnay, 50% Pinot noir

Type of soil :
Clay and limestone.

Rootstock:
41 B.

Average age of the vines:
40 years old.

Harvest:
Manually at optimal maturity, a natural method for a blossoming aroma. Strict selection procedure on the vines.  Naturally harvested to enhance the aromas of this "semi-late” harvest.

Pressing:
4000g pneumatic press for fine and delicate fragmentation.

Winemaking :
Kept in a tank for 6 months for the first alcoholic fermentation. Then moved to the cool. Systematic macolactic fermentation to guarantee the clarity of our Champagnes. Dosage: 8gr/l

Assemblage :
Only wines from the same vintage. Aging in cellars takes place over a minimum of 6 years. Production limited to 4000 bottles.

Tasting:
A sustained golden color. The nose is copious and silky with notes of spiced brioche bread, and stewed fruit compote.

Serving temperature:
10° C.

Marriage with foods:
A great accompaniment to aperitifs among fine connoisseurs. It goes marvelously with toasted pain d’épice spread with a small slice of pan fried fois gras. It will surprise you served with a veal casserole with rice. Have it with a fine fig dish and we shall have will have something to talk about!
